Macbeth gains the thane’s title, as the thane of Cawdor is sentenced to death. ‘To conclude, The victory fell on us;’ This tells us that Macbeth had won the battle. ‘What he hath lost, noble Macbeth hath won.’ Macbeth won both battles against the odds and stopped the invasion on Scotland.
