The Visitor

Snap…Snap…Click…The sound of a hundred cameras filled the air. Large crowds gathered to silently stare, wide-eyed and the massive beast. Looming over the people, the giant automation glared towards the horizon, bright lights on his body illuminating the night sky. His head scraped the sky and massive machine gun, similar to the MG 17 rested on his shoulder. But the fearsome android didn’t move. He stood as still as a statue, waiting for something to come. All of a sudden, every head on the ground snapped towards the horizon, where a horrible, ugly and disfigured monster scrambled over the mountain top. He screamed a challenge at the monster load enough to destroy every the entire town. The automation started to run at the monster. Slowly, but gaining speed by the second. He drew a massive sword from his belt, whispering as it came smoothly out of the sheath. The monster roared again and charged at the monster. they quickly closed the distance and jumped at each other. The automation, assisted by two huge boosters on each leg, had the high ground of the monster and quickly thrust down at the head of the monster. At the last second, the monster dodged the fatal stroke, but it still made a cut in the monsters back. The monster quickly got up and dump-trucked the automation. The creaks and groans of the metal bending and snapping was audible for miles around. The enlarged MG 17 started spinning the spit 5 M ordnance at the monster ripping the skin to shreds, but it seemed to have angered the beast, not kill it. Blood poured out of the monster, the white of the bones visible for all to see.The monster seemed to laugh with joy as he leaped on the automation and started ripping out the parts of the body. The automation, which had seemed invincible at the start, looked defeated and destroyed. With extreme effort, the robot shook the monster off his back and picked his sword back up. He was missing half an arm and was so damaged it seemed like a miracle that he could stand. He faced down the monster and swung his sword with all his might and missed! The point of the sword sunk into the ground. Leaping into the air, the monster prepared to deal the final blow that would finish off the robot. But as he did that, the robot knelt on one knee. “With the power of the gods, I sacrifice myself to defeat the beast. Give me the power to defeat this beast!” the robot said. And with the last of his energy. He made a circle with his thumb and forefinger. The explosion instantly destroyed everything within a 100 mile radius, and the shock wave flew around the globe. When the dust cleared, the robot saw that he had won, and the light in his eyes slowly flickered out.
